Blood Drive
9:00am – 3:00pm

Give blood and save a life at our Blood Drive. Appointments are preferred to serve you better. However walk-ins are welcome. To reserve an appointment click here. Write Shana Tova Cards to Israeli Disabled Veterans
9:00am - 1:00pm

Stop by the Beit Halochem USA-Friends of Israel Disabled Veterans (FIDV) table in the Social Hall, while you wait to give blood or if you are in the building and write a Shana Tova card to a disabled veteran. FIDV will provide cards illustrated by disabled veterans from Israel. Learn more at thebayit.org/fidv.

Meet Magen David Adom (MDA) Volunteers
9:00am - 1:30pm

Children and parents are welcome to meet Rachel Orloff and her therapy dog Charlie. Learn about the important work that medics do, learn how specially trained animals assist in helping injured and hospitalized patients.
All are encouraged to stop by and write a letters to “MDA Heroes. Click here learn more about American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA) and their commitment to saving lives.

Clothing Drive
9:30am – 12:30pm

Please sort and separately bag men's, women's & children's clothing as well as gently used linens, blankets, quilts, and towels. A truck will be outside the Bayit from 9:30am - 12:30pm. Swab-a-Cheek - Gift of Life Registry
11:00am – 1:00pm

Join the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Registry. Cheek swabbing is quick and painless and adding yourself to the registry creates an opportunity to save a life. Learn more at giftoflife.org.

Playground Open 
10:00am – 1:00pm

The playground will be open and light refreshments/ice cream will be served from 10:00am - 1:00pm.

Youth Department's 9/11 Tribute to FDNY/NYPD and More!
11:00am – 1:00pm

Join us in the Main Lobby to prepare cards and pack health bars for our local firehouse and police precinct to show our appreciation.
Pick up a Youth Department giveaway, DIY Rosh Hashana art and prepare Rosh Hashana cards for the home bound in our community.

Prepare Sandwiches for the Friendly Fridge
12:00pm – 12:30pm

All tweens and teens are welcome to join us in the Main Lobby to prepare sandwiches for our local Friendly Fridge. Please contact Yael Oshinsky yael@thebayit.org to volunteer.
