We will continue maintain the social distancing policies set up last year to ensure that all of our neighbors and volunteers can comfortably and safely participate in the CSA. Shares will continue to be boxed on the farm. While we miss picking our own veggies, the consensus is pre-boxing is safer.
Seasonal box of Organic Vegetable and Egg shares available from Hearty Roots Farm (www.heartyroots.com) located in Duchess County. Shares run from June 9 until November 10 available weekly or bi-weekly.
Fruit shares from Farmer Norman in Duchess County (www.greigfarm.com) will run from May 5 until October 13. Fruit crops include asparagus, strawberries, stone fruits, blueberries, blackberries, apples, and pumpkins available weekly or bi-weekly.
We are pleased to announce a bi-weekly Mushroom share delivered on week A partnering with MindWell farms in New Jersey featuring a variable mix of gourmet mushrooms including lion's mane, chestnut, king oyster, pink oyster and grey oyster varieties. A mixed 1.5lb box of 3 or more varieties will be featured in each box complete with recipe suggestions from the farm.
